According to the Yonhap News Agency, Samsung set up a new DIT center in its Semiconductor Business and Device Solutions Division (DS).
Industry insiders revealed that Samsung grafted AI technology in semiconductor factories earlier this year to upgrade and build smart factories. The DIT Center will establish an information technology (IT) strategy in the semiconductor field, and use AI, ML, and DL technologies to build advanced smart factories in semiconductor manufacturing data.
Samsung has established AI research centers in five countries around the world to enhance its AI capabilities and recruit relevant experts to continue open innovation research.
