Sales in September showed year-over-year growth across all regions: the Americas (46.3%), China (22.9%), Asia/Pacific/Other (18.4%), and Japan (7.7%), while Europe experienced a decline (-8.2%). In terms of month-over-month growth for September, Japan saw an increase of 5.3%, Asia/Pacific/Other grew by 4.5%, the Americas rose by 4.1%, Europe increased by 4.0%, and China grew by 3.6%.
SIA: Global Semiconductor Sales Increased by 10.7% Quarter-over-Quarter in Q3
The Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) recently announced that global semiconductor sales for Q3 2024 reached $166 billion, representing a 23.2% year-over-year increase and a 10.7% quarter-over-quarter increase. Global sales in September 2024 totaled $55.3 billion, up 4.1% from $53.1 billion in August.
