With precise power efficiency control, the multi-core power consumption is reduced by 44% compared to the previous generation, helping extend battery life.
The Dimensity 8400 is equipped with the Arm Mali-G720 GPU, which boosts GPU peak performance by 24% and reduces power consumption by 42%. Additionally, it supports advanced frame interpolation technology and the MediaTek HyperEngine, delivering smoother, more fluid gaming visuals and a steady, power-efficient gaming experience.
The Dimensity 8400 integrates MediaTek's flagship AI processor, the NPU 880. The full big-core CPU, combined with the powerful NPU for collaborative computing, provides high-speed generative AI task processing capabilities. It supports major global language models (LLM), small language models (SLM), and multimodal large models (LMMs), offering users innovative AI experiences on-device such as AI translation, rewriting, contextual smart replies, call summaries, and multimedia content generation.
