The Nikkei Asian Review reported on the 8th that due to the spread of the new crown virus epidemic, Hon Hai Group's Shenzhen and Zhengzhou factories' 10-day resumption plan was suspended by the Chinese mainland government. However, sources recently revealed that Hon Hai has obtained approval from the mainland government and Zhengzhou plant will resume work as scheduled.

Reuters today quoted an anonymous source as saying that Hon Hai had received approval from the mainland government to resume work at its Zhengzhou plant. At the same time, the source revealed that Hon Hai is still fighting with mainland authorities for resumption of the Shenzhen plant.

Hon Hai Group's Zhengzhou plant is the company's main iPhone production base, which is mainly responsible for the iPhone 11 series, iPhone SE2, and so on. Tianfeng International analyst Guo Mingxuan's latest report pointed out that the factory originally planned to resume work on February 10, has now postponed at least about 1 week, the expected return rate is about 40-60%.

Hon Hai has not responded to the matter.
