MMC Korea Company (MKC), a subsidiary of Global Wafers, a silicon wafer fab, held its second plant completion ceremony in Tianan City, South Korea on the 22nd. Chairman Xu Xiulan said that MKC No. 2 is a new milestone in GlobalWafers' forward-looking technology and operation growth, and can stably provide advanced specifications. Xu Xiulan said that the second plant can be completed in time this year, all from the Korean government's strong support and customer trust blessing. In the future, the new plant will focus on highly automated 12-inch wafer fabrication with a monthly capacity of approximately 176,000 wafers.
