After the supply channel to Huawei was blocked, US chip makers have lost at least hundreds of millions of dollars.

According to the US "Wall Street Journal" website reported on September 10, the United States listed Huawei on the "blacklist" on May 16, cutting off the channels for US chip manufacturers to supply parts to the company.

According to the report, analysts say that in the past three months or so, chip makers’ sales have lost at least hundreds of millions of dollars.

A spokesperson for the American Semiconductor Industry Association said: "Every day the license extension will cause greater damage to US chip manufacturers and provide more opportunities for our global competitors."

The spokesperson also said that over time, restrictions on US chip makers have allowed competitors to gain a greater foothold in the Chinese market.
