RACON Series Tactile Switches

RAFI's distinct key click switches are suitable for commonly used soldering methods

RAFI's RACON tactile switches are engineered to meet challenging user demands. They feature gold contacts rated up to one million cycles are ideal for applications that demand long life and a crisp, clear tactile feeling. The electrical contacts are well protected from moisture, dust, and debris as the rubber gasket is molded directly to the base of the switch. Users differentiate the interface experience with the help of high force and crisp actuations, which is an important brand characteristic of premium products.

The RACON switches are available in 8.4 mm and 12 mm square housing options and packaging includes vertical and right-angle variants of SMT or PTH packages. RACON switches have an operating temperature range of -40°C to +90°C and are suitable for automotive and harsh industrial environments. There is no special tooling required to bring a RACON switch from the printed circuit board (PCB) to the interface panel thanks to RAFI's complete offering of standard keycaps, light guides, and extended actuators.
