The 3M 25 G SFP28 direct attach copper cable assemblies, 1422 series, are passive copper cable assemblies which utilize 3M Twin Axial Cable technology. They create a highly-flexible, foldable, high-performance solution with bandwidths up to 25 Gbps to connect servers, switches, storage, and other high-speed equipment. 3M’s SFP28 cable assemblies (1422 series) deliver data bandwidth up to 25 Gbps (1 Gbps x 25 Gbps per channel) for lengths up to 2 meters with 30 AWG and from 2 meters to 4 meters with 26 AWG.

These assemblies are designed to meet industry standard protocols defined in IEEE 802.3by, SFF-8431, and 25G Ethernet. Additionally, these assemblies have been tested at the Open Networking Systems Interoperability PlugFest (UNH-IOL). These cable assemblies are typically used in data center network applications or high-performance computing applications that require higher bandwidths.
